Dear John,
Sorry I haven't written for such a long time, but I've been very busy recently. I'm writing to tell you about the performance we gave at school !
We wanted to celebrate the end of the school year, so we decided to stage Romeo and Juliet for all the students. The preparations started i March and took six weeks - we met every Monday and rehearsed all afternoon. I was responsible for the advertising compaign and I designed a fabulous poster.
The biggest problem was connected with the costumes. We borrowed some from the theatre, but they didn't have a wedding dress for our Juliet. Finally, I asked my Mym for help and she agreed to make the dree herself.
The audience gave us a standing ovation ! The money we collected selling the tickets will be spent on school trip to London.
