Last Saturday afternoon, I went to an exciting football match in London. My dad got me a ticket for the final against Holland.

The match was really exciting from the start. Holland scored a goal after ten minutes, and they were plaing really well. They almost scored two more goals in the first half, but after half time, England played better. Rooney, my favourite player, was excellent. After sixty minutes later he scored another goal and the score was 2-1! I think Rooney's the best player. He plays better, runs faster and shoots harder than all the other players.

The final score was 2-1 to England. I think it was a great match. England played briliantly! My dad and I were very excited, and very happy because our team won.After the match, we went and had a pizza together. It was a great day.
